New stuff

12 02 2008

We’ve had a busy couple of months but it has been fun! Catching up with family and friends has been a pleasure.
We are on the serious prowel for a house now, so looking forward to finding a great one soon.

Lots of pics added on the link. :)

It’s a GIRL!

28 12 2007

We found out yesterday after 3 tries with the sonogram, that we are having another GIRL!! We are very excited and glad that Grace will have a sister. I know from experience that they’ll be best of friends!
Our little girl was being stubborn and wouldn’t move but we finally got her in the right position after some caffeine and walking.

Neil said we’ll have to turn our house in to a princess house since there will be so many girls around! :)

Merry Christmas

28 12 2007

We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did! After the long treck back to Texas, we had a whirl-wind week of getting unpacked and trying to get a little settled and then Christmas celebrations!! It was great fun to be with family and to celebrate Christ’s birth with lots of loved ones.

Grace is TWO!

30 11 2007

Grace turned 2 yesterday! Neil was able to get the day off since he’s working over the weekend, so it was so fun to have the entire day to celebrate together.

We started off with birthday donuts after a dr appt for baby.
Then gift opening part 1.
Lunch with Mor Mor
Birthday nap – phew!
Dinner and Mall of America Lego Land (we were going to go to the Aquarium but were held up in traffic so we had to change the plan)
Cake and gift opening part 2!

Thank you to everyone who sent her a card and/or gift. It was so fun to get packages in the mail for her and she had
a blast opening them all! She has been staying very busy playing with everything.
“Happy Birthday to you” is her new favorite song. :)

Puppies!

30 11 2007

Our Iowa visit over the Thanksgiving weekend was great fun and we enjoyed spending some time with my family.
We were glad to be with Grandpa and help him out a little after getting home from the hospital.

Puppies galore were at my cousin Jeremy’s house – along with a lot of other animals.
Grace had a great time seeing them all and it was fun to watch Jaida, Garrison and Creighton with them.
I love that they are not scared of anything!

Cute pictures on the link.

A Snowy Thanksgiving

30 11 2007

What a beautiful Thanksgiving we had here in MN. Snow fell all evening the night before and all morning.
Our little family enjoyed watching the snow from the living room windows while eating breakfast and watching the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Parade.
Then, we went out and played!

We later joined the Wendell Anderson family at Lisa and Bruce’s house in Stillwater for dinner.

Grace learned this verse which has reminded me of what my attitude should continually be: “Always be thankful” Colossians 3:15

Fall Festivities

14 11 2007

We had a fun time with our friends Heather and Tim carving pumpkins at the end of October.
They were pretty creative pumpkin-carvers.
Grace dressed up as a cute little lady bug for Halloween.
